Denise Giancola, Events Coordinator
Certified Member Instructor, World Professional Dance Teachers Association. Full Bronze Certification.
Denise began dancing tap, jazz and ballet at age 5. In her teens she was teaching dance and competing in diving and gymnastics. She attended Etobicoke School of the Arts (High School) - think "Fame" and yes, they were always dancing in the hallways - seriously. Their high school was regularly invited to perform for various other schools, events for hospitals, for Vets on Remembrance Day and for special occasions. Then she completed a 3-year professional training program for modern dancers at the School of Toronto Dance Theater, one of Canada's premiere dance companies. Denise moved to Las Vegas to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice but she missed dancing and took dance lessons from Arthur Murray for 2 years before becoming a teacher.
You'll see Denise at our bi-annual events, Showcase and Medal Ball, and at our Sunday brunches as our resident perfect egg maker. Denise also helps Joni teach our fun Saturday evening workshops. She especially loves dancing Samba, Salsa, Latin Hustle, West Coast Swing and Bachata so when you see her grab a dance!
Kelly Nelson, Office Manager
Kelly is the newest member of the staff, although not new to Arthur Murray Dance Studios. Kelly took dance lessons with us for several years before moving behind the desk. She loves to dance - all dance styles - but especially East Coast and West Coast Swing.
